GENERAL INFORMATION
- Position Title: Driver
- Classification: Class 1
- Salary: $0.4467/mile and $22.69/hour during waiting time
- Division: TJL
- Start Date: As soon as possible
- Application Deadline: Open-ended
PRIMARY TASKS
- Drive a truck from a recent and well-maintained fleet;
- Transport goods between terminals and various clients located between Val-d’Or, Toronto, and Montreal;
- Inspect the overall condition of the vehicle and report any anomalies;
- Travel on the beautiful roads between Val-d’Or, Toronto, and Montreal.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- Group insurance (medical, vision, dental) after 60 days effectively worked;
- Paid annual sick leave.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Valid Class 1 driver’s license;
- Diploma from a professional training program in heavy vehicle driving;
- Excellent professional driving record;
- Basic knowledge of mechanics;
- Demonstrated good time management skills.
