JOB DESCRIPTION

Billing
• Update invoices;
• Make corrections to invoices produced by the billing clerk or in relation to the allocation of a rate;
• Consolidate invoices for certain customers;
• Produce invoices to customers on a daily, weekly or monthly basis, as the case may be, print them and send them to the customer;
• Follow up on invoicing between receipt of documents and distribution of transport, ensure that all transport is properly invoiced;
• Send an email to customers for fuel and enter fuel surcharge data into the system each week;
• When an invoice is not associated with a waybill, ensure that the billing data is entered in the waybill associated with the transport;
• Transfer SEBJ slips to an Excel file;
• Provide support to the billing clerk when required;
• Produce invoicing for items already delivered, if necessary;
• Send copies of invoices at the customer’s request;
• Close the month by following the steps in the monthly invoicing report;

Pricing
• Calculate, prepare and issue rates to customers in reference to the company’s rate list;
• Consult the operations team for any questions related to the allocation of a rate or a transport request;
• Update rate increases, according to the expiry of the customer agreement;
• When requesting transport, ensure that the quotes are representative of the invoicing;
• Validate the transport carried out and the amount of the carriers’ invoices (Interlignes);
• Manage customer dissatisfaction with their invoices;
• Provide support to the billing clerk;
• Perform any other related tasks.

REQUIRED TRAINING

• AEC or DEC in administration or accounting;

REQUIREMENTS

• Bilingual (spoken and written);
• Attention to detail;
• Autonomy, initiative;
• Sense of responsibility.
• Resourceful;
• Excellent teamwork skills;

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Have one (1) to two (2) years of experience in a similar position.

• Office work.
• Work performed in a sitting position.
